Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 2.6% to 233,206 tonnes in December 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from the US, Algeria, Kazakhstan, the Bahama Islands and Greece.
Turkey's LPG production in December 2020 also decreased to 77,922 tonnes - marking a year-on-year drop of 5.2%.
Exports increased to 15,022 tonnes with a jump of 10% in December 2020 from 13,652 tonnes in December 2019.
Total LPG sales in December 2020 decreased by 17.8% to around 270,634 tonnes, comprising 204,621 tonnes of autogas, 56,699 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 9,313 tonnes of bulk LPG.
