The oil rig count in the U.S. remained unchanged this week, according to oilfield services company Baker Hughes data on Friday.
The number of oil rigs in the country stayed at 359, the data showed.
At Friday's trading close, the price of international benchmark Brent crude stood at $71.89 per barrel, while American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was at $69.62 a barrel.
