Russia's Lukoil completed the sale of its diamond business late on Thursday.
The company said that it sold 100 percent stake in its Arkhangelskgeoldobycha company to Otkritie Industrial Investments.
The transaction totaled $1.45 billion paid in Russian rubles.
The Arkhangelskgeoldobycha diamond mine is located in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia.
For the transaction, Goldman Sachs acted as exclusive financial advisor to Lukoil.
