TheÌýTurkish Energy Regulatory Market (EMRA) fined the companies for selling sub-standard diesel,Ìýwhich according to samples taken by the regulatory authority, did not contain the required national marker indicating the prescribedÌýquality.
The companies' who have been fined include; Ìý
Bulduk Petrol Co. who were fined TLÌý2 millionÌý
EnersaÌýElektrik Co. approx.ÌýTL 98 thousand
Ortu Co. TL 1.2 million
OzsahÌýCo. approx. 520 thousand
Necati IlginÌýLPG station TL 340 thousandÌý
andÌýAysev Petrol Co. TL 163 thousand
Other reasons for the setting of fines include companies whoÌýactedÌýillegally againstÌýregulations set by the license holder, the purchase of dieselÌýfrom unlicensedÌýsuppliers and/orÌýillegally filling up cylinders withÌýliquid petroleum gas (LPG).
SomeÌýcompanies were asked to write aÌýdefense statement for late fee payments and unlicensed acts.Ìý
