Turkey's energy watchdog imposes $325,000 fine

- Firms breached license requirements by holding products that contaminated fuel oil in stations.

Turkey's energy watchdog imposed on Saturday a $325,000��fine on three energy companies, according to their official gazette.��

The three energy companies were fined $325,000 --��747, 766 Turkish liras --��as they breached license requirements��by holding products that contaminated fuel oil in stations, according to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.

The watchdog asked five other companies for their defense statements.��

The regulatory agency��also authorized 15 new licenses and��cancelled the licenses of six��other firms.
