The Sixth European Political Community summit in the Albanian capital city of Tirana ended Friday with an emphasis on rearmament of Europe.
Speaking at the news conference with Danish Premier Mette Frederiksen, who will host the next summit, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that it was decided to establish the Political Community Coordination Team under the Presidency of the European Council.
It is now up to members to turn the potential of the community that represents 600 million people into positive, tangible results, he added.
Frederiksen noted that security would be the main agenda of the next summit.
Underlining that Russia poses a threat not only to Ukraine, but also all of Europe, she added: "Hence, rearmament of Europe is our number one priority. Others cannot help us if we are not ready to defend each other."
She also stressed the importance of boosting European companies' completive edge and halting energy imports from Russia.
