Top Ukrainian diplomat thanks Azerbaijan for supporting Kyiv’s territorial integrity, sovereignty
Ukrainian foreign minister also thanks country for its humanitarian, energy assistance in winter amid meeting with Azerbaijani president in Baku

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha on Sunday thanked Baku for supporting Kyiv’s territorial integrity and sovereignty amid talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the country’s capital.
In a statement on X, Sybiha said they had an open and detailed discussion on the key issues in Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations and the international agenda, and specifically on how to put an end to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and establish a just and lasting peace.
“I personally thanked President Aliyev for Azerbaijan's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as its humanitarian and energy assistance during the winter,” Sybiha further said.
He also said they discussed the next steps in the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Azerbaijan has provided over $40 million in humanitarian aid to Kyiv since the start of the Ukraine war, now in its fourth year.�
According to Ukraine's Foreign Ministry, Sybiha is also scheduled to meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov and Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov during his two-day visit to Baku, which began Saturday.
