UK extends travel advisory to all Israel, occupied Palestinian territories amid Israel-Iran tensions
Foreign Office warns of escalating risks in the region

LONDON
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office on Sunday extended its travel advisory to cover all of Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, following rising Israel-Iran tensions.
“The FCDO advises against all travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories,” the statement said.
It warned that following Iran’s missile and drone attacks and Israel’s strikes on Iranian sites, the nationwide state of emergency in Israel and closed airspace signal a rapidly evolving situation with serious and unpredictable risks.
The statement added that air and land travel could be disrupted and urged British nationals to closely follow announcements from UK authorities.
Since early Friday, Israel has launched a series of strikes against Iranian territory, targeting nuclear and missile facilities and killing senior military figures and leading scientists. Oil and gas infrastructure was also targeted.
Iran responded with missiles targeting several areas across Israel.
