New round of Iranian retaliatory attacks hit southern Israel
Smoke reported near Microsoft building in Beersheba shortly after strike

ISTANBUL
An Iranian missile landed in the city of Beersheba in southern Israel on Friday, causing damage but no immediate reports of injuries, according to Israel’s Channel 12.
Earlier, sirens sounded in Beersheba and nearby towns amid an Iranian ballistic missile barrage.
Preliminary reports showed smoke near a Microsoft office in Beersheba, where the missile struck.
Israeli media, quoting the mayor of Beersheba, reported that an Iranian missile directly hit a location in the city.
Firefighters are working to extinguish fires at the heavily damaged impact site, local media said.
Hostilities broke out last Friday when Israel launched airstrikes on several sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.
Meanwhile, in Iran, 639 people have been killed and more than 1,300 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to Iranian media reports.
