Ukraine said on Tuesday that at least 11 people were killed in a Russian missile attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

“Nine people died in Dnipro as a result of an enemy attack. Two more were killed by Russians in Samar. Thus, the number of victims of terror in the region has increased to 11,” Dnipropetrovsk Governor Serhiy Lysak said on Telegram.

Lysak later said 153 people also got injured, and 12 were in a serious condition. “Medical assistance has already been provided to 18 children. The youngest patient is only six months old,” he added.

Earlier, the governor said the attack in the city of Dnipro led to a fire and caused damage to a dormitory, a gymnasium and an administrative building, adding that a passenger train was also damaged.

Ukraine’s national railway company, Ukrzaliznytsia, on Telegram confirmed a passenger train traveling between the cities of Odesa and Zaporizhzhia was damaged, indicating that none were killed.
