Nvidia chief says this is decade of robotics and autonomous vehicles
US technology is a generation ahead of China in AI, says Jensen Huang

ISTANBUL
US tech company Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang said Thursday that this decade, autonomous cars and robotics will become even more popular.
“This is going to be the decade of AV (autonomous vehicles), robotics, autonomous machines,” Huang told CNBC television at a tech event in Paris.
Huang said that Europe has a potential in advancing in those fields due to the energy surplus in the region, especially in France, where nuclear energy is advanced.
"I think all the pieces of the puzzle are here. You have to take advantage of it," he noted.
Regarding China, Huang said US technology is a generation ahead of Chinese technology in AI.
"However, the important thing to remember is that artificial intelligence (AI) tech is a parallel problem. If each one of the computers are not as capable, you just need to have more computers," he said.
Since the chipmaker supplies both hardware and software for AVs, Nvidia is a major player in the deployment of AVs.
