Turkish stock exchange opens Thursday up
Benchmark BIST 100 index gains 29.16 points at open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 9,730.71 points, up 0.30% or 29.16 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 slightly rose by 0.01% to 9,701.55 points, with a daily transaction volume of 109.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.82 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 38.7430 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 43.6470 to the euro, and 51.6615 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,152.50, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.40 per barrel.
