Air defenses activated in central Iran to counter Israeli attacks
'Isfahan’s air defense has been activated to counter drones and projectiles from the Zionist regime,' reports Iranian media

Air defenses were activated in several Iranian areas against an Israeli aerial attack, an Iranian media outlet reported on Saturday.
“Isfahan’s air defense has been activated to counter drones and projectiles from the Zionist regime,” reported the Iranian Mehr News Agency.�
The news agency later reported that air defense systems were activated in Lavasan, northeast of Tehran.
Shiraz, a city in southern Iran, has activated its air defense and is engaged in combat with Israeli "hostile targets" in some areas, it added.
Hostilities broke out on June 13 when Israel launched airstrikes on several sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.�
Meanwhile, in Iran, 430 people have been killed and more than 3,500 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to the Iranian Health Ministry.
