The Iranian military issued an evacuation warning early Tuesday for the Ramat Gan area in Tel Aviv, Israel following an earlier Israeli announcement warning residents to leave central Tehran ahead of possible airstrikes.

In a statement shared by Iranian media, the Iranian Armed Forces urged civilians in Ramat Gan to evacuate immediately, warning of a potential strike within hours.

"Urgent warning to all persons in the area marked on the attached map in Tel Aviv; leave the area in question in the Ramat Gan area immediately. In the next few hours, the Iranian Armed Forces will conduct operations in this area, similar to the operations it has conducted against the military infrastructure of the Israeli regime in recent days. Your presence in this area puts your lives at risk," the statement said.

The warning came shortly after the Israeli army called on residents of Tehran’s Seventh District to evacuate, saying it would target the area with airstrikes.

A spokesperson for the Israeli army called on residents of the area to avoid approaching it "for the next few hours," claiming that "the Israeli army will work to strike Iranian regime military infrastructure there."

The army issued an "urgent warning" to those in what it called "Square 7" in Tehran, according to a map attached to the statement on X.

More than once in recent days, the Israeli army has warned Iranians in several areas of Tehran to evacuate, claiming that it intends to strike government military infrastructure.

Regional tensions sharply escalated Sunday after the US bombed Iran’s Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities.

The US attacks were the latest escalation in a US-backed Israeli military assault on Iran since June 13, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes on Israel.

Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.

Meanwhile, in Iran, at least 430 people have been killed and more than 3,500 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to the Iranian Health Ministry.
