Norway's August oil output saw a 41,000 barrel-per-day decrease compared to July, according to official figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) on Friday.
Norway's preliminary oil production for August was about 1.6 percent below NPD's forecast for the month.
The Directorate also said that oil production was about 1.4 percent less compared to August last year.
Additionally, the country's total gas sales for August saw a monthly decrease of 0.1 billion cubic meters reaching 10.4 billion cubic meters compared to July.
The Nordic country's daily production of oil, natural gas liquids and condensate was about 1.9 billion barrels for the month of August.
