​​​​​​​Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 12.4% to 81,258 tons in March, compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Thursday.
EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports rose by 4.7%, reaching 335,973 tons in March, with the majority of imports coming from Algeria, Russia, the US, Norway, the UAE and Georgia.
While the country's LPG exports rose by 70.3% year-on-year, to 63,409 tons in March.
The top 12 destinations for Türkiye's LPG exports were Marshall Islands, Bulgaria, the UAE, Lebanon, Ukraine, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Switzerland, Romania, Poland, Singapore, Greece and Free Zones of Türkiye.
Total domestic LPG sales reached 315,117 tons in March.
