The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1500-1900 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 615.11 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 4.8% to around 1.65 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,682.67 liras and 2,665.92 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1500-1900 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,080.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.09 liras at 2.57 p.m. local time (1157 GMT) on Thursday.
