The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 250,01 liras at 13 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 16.9% to around 1.38 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,367.15 liras and 2,345.08 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,379.59 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.69 liras at 2.36 p.m. local time (1136 GMT) on Thursday.
