The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Monday.
The lowest rate is set at 501.02 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 7.4% to around 1.42 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,451.05 liras and 2,437.09 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was at 14.03 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.59 liras at 2.22 p.m. local time (1122 GMT) on Monday.
