The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 556 liras at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0900, 1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 16.8% to around 1.42 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,347.14 liras and 2,343.88 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 999.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.26 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Tuesday.
