The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1900 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 130,01 liras at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0300, 0900 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 36.8% to around 870 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,532.36 liras and 1,555.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 250,01 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.81 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
