The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,399 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Monday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 780 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an decrease of 19.6% to around 1.30 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,280.10 liras and 2,281.50 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Monday was set at 3,399.01 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,749.98 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.77 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
