The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 600.01 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 25.8% to around 1.29 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,263.13 liras and 2,261.01 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,042.39 liras at noon local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.75 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
