The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 501.02 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 21.15% to around 1.26 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,092.21 liras and 2,107.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 200 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.44 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Tuesday.
