The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,864.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 13.7% to around 1.68 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,823.21 liras and 2,828.25 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2,218.07 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.02 liras at 2.24 p.m. local time (1124 GMT) on Friday.
