The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,524 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 11.00 local time (2100-0800 GMT), and between 14.00 and 23.00 local time (1100-2000 GMT), while the lowest is determined as 1,500 liras at 12.00 and 13.00 local time (0900 and 1000 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 3.11% to 742.11 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,522 liras and 1,521.62 liras, respectively.
