The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. local time (0600, 1300, 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 2,159.01 liras at 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (0000, 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 6% to around 1.94 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,659.89 liras and 2,690.75 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 1500, 1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,889.97 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 36.42 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Thursday.
