The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,239.99 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 900 liras at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m local time (1000 and 1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 43.9% to around 867 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,400.53 liras and 1,413.04 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,689 liras at 8 a.m and 9 a.m. local time (0500 and 0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,487.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 30.68 liras at 2.50 p.m. local time (1150 GMT) on Friday.
