The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0600 GMT and 1100-1800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,799.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 14.8% to around 1.62 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,656.51 liras and 2,668.32 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and between 6 a.m and 11 a.m and between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (2100 and 0300-0800 GMT and 1200-2000 GMT), while the lowest rate at 2,499.99 liras between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900, 1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.69 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
