The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0600 - 0800 and 1100 - 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,499.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 0.78% to around 1.47 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,387.05 liras and 2,419.13 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0600, 0800 and 1100 - 1300 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,598.02 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 28.94 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Wednesday.
