The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,581.68 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,049.99 liras at 6. a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 21% to around 1.24 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,786.35 liras and 1,840.68 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,568.58 liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,248.98 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT).
US$1 equals 30.75 liras at 2.35 p.m. local time (1135 GMT) on Wednesday.
