The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,199.98 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,603.99 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 4.8% to 1.53 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as liras 2,532.71 and 2,561.62 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 3,200 Turkish liras between 15.00, 20.00 and 21.00 local time (1200, 1700, 1800 GMT) while the lowest rate was determined as 1,468.08 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.
US$1 equals 16.44 liras at 1148 GMT on Wednesday.
