The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 2,174.99 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 4.8% to around 1.89 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,931.69 liras and 2,944.96 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the rate was set at 2,200 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.01 liras at 2.14 p.m. local time (1114 GMT) on Tuesday.
