The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,700.00 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local times (0500 and 0600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1.249,00 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of %11.3 to around 1.44 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,236.35 liras and 2,254.86 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,700.00 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. local times (0600, 0700 and 1100-1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,999.99 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 29.04 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
