Türkiye's energy import bill decreased by 46.4% to $4.32 billion in June compared to the same month of 2022, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Friday.
The data shows that the overall import bill in June, including energy and other items, totaled $26.06 billion.
At $4.32 billion, energy accounted for 16.5% of the overall import figures in Türkiye in June.
Crude oil imports in June showed a 5.4% decline to 2.99 million tons of crude, compared to 3.16 million tons in June last year.
