The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,864.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 6.57 to around 2 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,964.14 liras and 2,975 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at be 3,400 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,369.69 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.73 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Wednesday.
