The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1500-2000 GMT), according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 1,790 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 4.7% to around 1.90 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,102.6 liras and 3,098.04 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (0500, 1500-2100 GMT), while the lowest at 1,790.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39 liras at 2.40 p.m. local time (1140 GMT) on Tuesday.
