The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (0500, and 1300-1700 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,999.09 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 3.5% to around 1.60 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,639.18 liras and 2,662.10 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., between 3 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (0500, and 1200-1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1649,99 liras at 12 p.m . local time (0900 GMT).
