The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 168.18 Turkish liras at 19.00 and the lowest will be 96 liras at 05.00, 06.00, 07.00 and 08.00 local time, according to official figures on Saturday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Sunday's electricity market decreased by 12.3 percent to 38.2 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Sunday is calculated as 133.79 liras and 133.24 liras respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Friday was 199.99 Turkish liras at 09.00 and the lowest was 96.01 liras at 05.00, 06.00 and 07.00 local time.
US$1 equals 3.51 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
