The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,999 Turkish liras at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600,1700 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,799 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 1.13% to around 1.48 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,461.39 liras and 2.476.23 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 2,995.01 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the rate was set at 1,799 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 37.93 liras at 2.11 p.m. local time (1111 GMT) on Thursday.
