The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,950 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 157.88 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 20.2% to around 1.36 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,104.99 liras and 2.108.61 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,762.25 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 150 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 36.59 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Thursday.
